Istanbul, the vibrant city that bridges two continents, Asia and Europe, welcomed me with open arms. As I wandered through its lively streets, I was captivated by the rich history and magnificent architecture that surrounded me. The Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and Topkapi Palace took my breath away, leaving a lasting impression on my mind.

The warm and friendly locals guided me to hidden gems such as the Grand Bazaar, where the aromas of spices and vibrant colors of textiles overwhelmed my senses. I couldn't resist indulging myself in the traditional Turkish cuisine, savoring mouthwatering kebabs and sweet Baklava.

From techno clubs to cozy jazz bars, Berlin offered a diverse range of entertainment options to suit any taste.

A Bonding of Two Remarkable Cities

My experience abroad from Istanbul to Berlin was not just about exploring two exceptional cities individually, but also about witnessing the striking similarities and connections between them. Istanbul and Berlin both reflect a rich cultural heritage and have undergone significant transformations throughout history.

While Istanbul embraces its Eastern traditions and religious influences, Berlin epitomizes the fusion of old and new, paying homage to its diverse past while embracing the future. These cities taught me the importance of embracing diversity, understanding different cultural perspectives, and appreciating the beauty in our differences.
