1. Ants Never Sleep

If you thought humans were sleep-deprived, think again! Ants don't need to sleep at all. Instead, these tiny creatures take numerous short power naps throughout the day. Researchers have found that ants rest approximately 250 times a day for about a minute each time.
2. Earth is Not a Perfect Sphere

Contrary to popular belief, the Earth is not a perfect sphere. Due to its rotation, the Earth bulges slightly at the equator and flattens at the poles, giving it an oblate spheroid shape. This means that Mount Everest's peak is actually farther from the center of the Earth than the summit of Mount Chimborazo in Ecuador.
