From day one, it became clear that living and working on a cruise ship was unlike anything I had ever experienced before. Being a flight attendant opened up a whole new world of adventures. From the moment I stepped onto the plane, I was soaring through the skies with a group of passionate and free-spirited individuals. Whether it was dealing with difficult passengers, navigating through turbulence, or exploring new destinations during layovers, every day brought something different.

The loonies I encountered in the air had a unique perspective on life. They taught me to appreciate the beauty of our planet from a bird's-eye view, to find joy in the smallest of things. We would often have late-night layovers in exotic cities, and instead of staying cooped up in our hotel rooms, we would venture out to explore, immersing ourselves in the local culture and creating memories that would last a lifetime.

The book that I have the pleasure to present to the readers is, in fact, a collection of email messages sent to my friends and family. It consists of two parts. The first one contains my experience of life aboard a passenger ship cruising the vast waters around the Caribbean Islands. I was 25 (year 2003) and worked as a massage therapist in a cruise ship spa. Three years later, at the age of 28 (year 2006),I had an aspiration to become a flight attendant – and I made it come true. Working for the Bahrain Airline (Kingdom of Bahrain) is the topic of the second part of the book.
